Robert Bowyer (died 1634)
Robert Bowyer (died 1634) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1601 and 1610.
Bowyer was the son of William Bowyer, Keeper of the Records in the Tower. In 1601, he was elected Member of Parliament for Steyning. He was granted in reversion on 25 June 1604 the office of Door Keeper of the Exchequer, and Keeper of the Council Chamber of the Star Chamber for life. In 1605 he was elected MP for Evesham in a by-election. He resigned his seat in 1610 when he became Clerk of the House of Lords. In 1611 he and Francis Crane held the office of Clerk of the Parliaments〔( W R Williams ''Parliamentary History of the County of Worcester'' )〕

Bowyer died in 1634.〔 He was unmarried.
